Surviving A Crisis

I received an unexpectedly large amount of responses to my last newsletter and I just want to let you all know that I will respond to every one of them. I just never expected that it will be so many and, since my dear Becky cannot assist me in this area, I am on my own.  So please don’t feel that I neglected you, if I still haven’t replied.

Second, before I finish writing the next part of the “Way of the Hero”, which I am planning to send out sometime next week or the week after, I would like to share the “Surviving a Crisis” ritual, which is really a meditation with prayer. I was planning to send it to you after I finished the “Way of the Hero”, but feel that some of you may need it right now.

You can cast the most powerful spell in the world but, if you are still attached to the outcome, your spell will most likely never work. By attaching yourself to the outcome you are attaching yourself to the problem. You are still vibrating on the negative side of your desire.

If you will not fighting what is, you can remove the suffering.

However, it is not easy to detach yourself from the outcome  when you are waiting for certain amount of money to manifest while your landlord is knocking at your door or the sheriff just attached a yellow note to your front door. But this is the only way to ensure that you will get the best outcome possible. So, please learn to surrender and allow the higher source to do its job.

Do not confuse “surrender” with “giving up”. When you surrender yourself to the higher source, ensured that everything will work according to the divine will. When you give up you feel disempowered and lose all of your hopes.

Surviving A Crisis

If God is anything, surely that divine force that we experience in times of crisis is … what is. After your spell is cast , you must REMEMBER not attach yourself to the end result of your work.
You can perform the following as many times as you need to, until you feel that you finally surrendered.
You must stop all the thoughts, and sit quietly in that still point at the center of your Self (here and now), without fear, desire, or expectation – as an observer.

I found this prayer in my old journal, I don’t remember the source it came from. The meditation and prayer is about a detachment from your desire.  So, here it is (I also made a page for your Book of Shadows containing this ritual):

Oh God/Goddess/Divine Source/Universe (or name of the divine source of your own religion/tradition)
Refresh and gladden my spirit.
Purify my heart. Illumine my powers.
I lay all my affairs in thy hand.
Thou art my guide and my refuge.
I will no longer be sorrowful and grieved.
I will be a happy and joyful being.
I will no longer be full of anxiety, nor will I let trouble harass me.
I will not dwell on the unpleasant things of life.
O God/Goddess, thou art more friend to me than I am to myself.
I dedicate myself to thee.

When you finish, you may resume to your duties allowing the Divine Source to take care of your problem.

With Love and Light,
Rita Digilova
