Law of Attraction and Core Beliefs
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous? Actually, who are you not too be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn’t serve the world. There’s nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine as children do. We are born to manifest the glory of God that’s within us. It’s not just in some of us, it’s in everyone and as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.” – Marianne Williamson
The above statement clearly explains that what we are projecting out and how we are understood by others are exactly in accordance with who we believe we are at our core. I have met countless people who possessed a deep belief that they could not be loved or believed that they had to accomplish something in order to “earn” love and respect. Why do individuals hold on to these beliefs?
How and when were such beliefs seeded at our core level? When did these beliefs begin orchestrating our experiences?
There could be many reasons why we were exposed to such programing. Painful childhood experiences, post-traumatic stress, and many other experiences create special conditioning in our brain. They create walls and borders within which we permit ourselves to function. Most people live all their lives within those borders. As sad as it sounds, this is only part of the problem.
The other part is that those deep beliefs are communicated to other people. They radiate a specific message that is passed through the collective, thus unconsciously forcing other people to behave in a way that matches your core beliefs about yourself. Do yourself and others a favor, Love Yourself and believe that you are here to be whatever you want to be!
As the statement put forth, “We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous? Actually, who are you not too be?”
As long as you hold on to a belief, you will continue to experience this as a matter of creation. However, change is only a choice away. The choice of the experience is yours, and only yours, to craft. Make a choice to create beliefs that will attract much wanted experiences into your life. Then others will behave in accordance and will begin to feel great in your presence.
Again, you are who you want to be and you will be. If you believe that you’ve had enough of an experience, any experience, then…change it!
