“Lakshmi is a Goddess of Fortune. Even though she is considered to be a Hindu Goddess, I personally think that she is a Universal Goddess. Anyone who chooses a spiritual focus for bringing more fortune and abundance into their lives can call upon her. She is the Goddess of wealth, prosperity, abundance, beauty and love.  Lakshmi usually wears red saree and adorned with a gold jewelry. She is pictured sitting or standing on the lotus with gold coins pouring out into the Universe from one of her hands. It is said that the Goddess Lakshmi loves to rain her wealth down on all of her devotees and helps them meet all their financial needs. She helps them prosper and brings both material and spiritual wealth.
Goddess Lakshmi reincarnates to earth with her beloved eternal husband God Vishnu and she has been his wife in many lifetimes. She was Sita to Rama and Rukmini to Krishna, therefore she also represents a perfect wife.
Finding the energy of Lakshmi inside oneself is a highly spiritual journey yet practical approach of applying ancient wisdom to modern life.
If you already aware that there is an Intelligent Force in the Universe that projects itself into various energy forms (or Gods so to speak) then it will not be difficult for you to accept the Universal Abundance in the form of Goddes Lakshmi who can actually make your dreams come true and be the divine partner you have been looking for.
There are many types of Lakshmi Mantras and each Mantra creates its own vibrations but all mantras generate money, wealth, and prosperity.
One of my favorite mantras is Mahalakshmi Gayatri Mantra: “Om Shree Mahalakshmyai Cha Vidmahe Vishnu Patnayai Cha Dheemahi Tanno Lakshmi Prachodayat Om”
The mantra should be repeated 108 times every day. It is said that this mantra puts the one who chants it into a vibration of Goddess Lakshmi (or vibration of prosperity).
May the energy of Lakshmi be always with us!”
